Life or Something Like It

These are some of the few questions that the movie Life or Something Like It posts to us couch potatoes. You, what would you do? Try to watch this one starring Angelina Jolie and Edward Burns, and decide. I especially adore Tony Shalloub’s role, and I love this movie so much that I wanted to include this in my blog site. I know, I know. It could not have been plainer that I cried when I watched this movie.

Art Bell Hate Mail About Pinoys
You’ve probably received the degrading email about Filipinos, allegedly coming from Art Bell, a TV host in the States. I’ll add the contents of this specific email to this article later, but before you start judging, try first to read this:
Philippine allegations
A hoax e-mail recounting Bell’s allegedly racist statements, calling the Philippines “a disgusting and filthy place” on-air, has been circulating online since the 1990s. Bell has repeatedly denied making such a statement, furthermore noting that his wife Ramona is partly of Philippine heritage. In 2001, Bell sued the Philippine Daily Inquirer after the newspaper published the e-mail as fact; the Inquirer published a retraction and apologized to Bell.

A Fun Observation (A Challenge)
You’ve probably noticed the same thing that I have, and you’ve probably done so when you were still a new hire.
The topic: Headsets. Whenever I go to the pantry, or smoke outside, or pass any corridors, I always notice these new hires who always wore their headsets around their necks, as if it’s the latest fashion.
